Triptych of the Virgin of Montserrat by Bartolomé Bermejo

And finally, like a treasure chest, the greatest wonder will be revealed: the extraordinary Triptych of the Virgin of Montserrat by Bartolomé Bermejo – the most important Spanish painter of the 15th century – a masterpiece that an illustrious citizen of Acqui, Francesco Della Chiesa, commissioned from him in Valencia and that on his death donated to his beloved native country.
